Tuesday 8th of November 2011 the final day of a pioneer joint program run by the Afghan council UK and the British Parliament.
A course that provides fantastic opportunity for youths of ethnic minority, predominant Afghan to learn, understand and further expand their existing knowledge of the British Parliament and active citizenship.
The participants were presented with certificates on behalf of the parliament and Afghan Council UK for the completion of the course.
A number of individuals who have provided extremely valuable support for the Afghan Council UK were also honoured and presented with a special award for their contributions.
The event was jointly hosted by Faqir Mayvand and Alasdair Mackenzin
