To pursue any charitable purpose for the benefit of the Afghan community and refugees of other ethnic origins living in the United Kingdom (“beneficiaries”), and in particular but not exhaustively
- To relieve social and economic distress through the provision of advice, assistance and support regarding healthcare, welfare and state benefits, education and employment;
- To provide education and training pertinent to our beneficiaries’ own heritage or to their integration into British society in the form of cultural information, language classes and resources, training and vocational courses and related advice;
- To provide facilities for recreation and social activities in accordance with the needs of our beneficiaries but particularly to assist family and community cohesion and to enable full participation in social and economic life;
- To relieve suffering caused by bereavement, persecution, discrimination, civil disorder or natural disaster through the provision of counselling and practical assistance.
